Suntransfers offers first class, affordable airport taxis and guarantees a quick, reliable and comfortable service.

England’s capital, London, is one of the busiest and most vibrant in the world with all 32 of the city’s boroughs boasting their own unique character. From Hackney and Brixton to Islington and Kensington, London offers more than could be explored in a lifetime.

Head to the Natural History Museum for an afternoon marveling at the wonders of the natural world. Beware the frighteningly lifelike animatronic T-Rex display that terrorizes museum-goers. If, you’re after more, skip around the corner to the Science Museum where you can expect a variety of top-notch displays and exhibitions that range from space to planets and even maths.

London enjoys some spectacular green spaces too and when the weather’s warm the parks come alive. Hampstead Heath offers sprawling acreage and several public ponds you can enjoy a summer dip in.

For a touch of the trendy and the hip, march down to Shoreditch and enjoy craft beer, boutique shopping and a wide and satisfying range of bushy beards. Brick Lane is populated with vintage clothes and record shops and gives way to Spitalfields Market which houses yet more shopping.

The best way to take in London is to jump aboard a ferry. Sluice down the Thames and watch as the city flexes its best. The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and the Southbank are all on display.

So, if you’re flying into London’s Heathrow Airport and heading into the city or surrounds book an airport taxi transfer and start your trip with us.

Pre-book your airport taxi transfer from London Heathrow Airport (LHR)

London Heathrow Airport (LHR) is Europe’s busiest airport and one of two major international airports in London, the other being Gatwick. In 2018, it handled 80.1 million passengers, a 2 percent increase from the previous year. The airport covers 12.27 square kilometers, consists of 5 terminals, including a dedicated British Airways terminal, and is located approximately 23 kilometers from Central London. London Heathrow serves as the main point of entry for many traveling to England, and Suntransfers offers transfers from the airport to both London and cities further afield.

Booking your Taxi transfer

Whether you’re heading to central London or further afield, an airport taxi transfer from London Heathrow (LHR) can take all the hassle out of an onward journey. Suntransfers offers a wide range of options that accommodate a wide range of needs and guarantees comfort and ease when traveling to or from an airport.

Having to deal with the stress of navigating another country’s public transportation system after you’ve just come off of a long flight is the last thing anyone wants to deal with. Airports are also often located on the outskirts of cities with poor connections resulting in extended journey times. An airport taxi from Heathrow is a great way to avoid all this.

Suntransfers’ first class service can accommodate everyone. From friends and family, to work groups and solo travelers, we’ve got you covered. Pre-book the vehicle that will best suit your needs. Our fleet includes everything from private cars to minibusses, minivans, and even mini-coaches.

All our drivers will be ready and waiting to meet you in the arrivals hall, where they will take your luggage and escort you to your pre-booked vehicle. All that’s left for you to do is to relax into a comfortable airport transfer.

Those of you who may need additional features such as baby seats or wheelchair accommodation, you can specify this during your booking.

How do I get from Heathrow to the city center?

You can travel from London’s Heathrow Airport to the city center via the Underground or tube, train, and bus.

#The Underground

The Picadilly Line is the most cost-effective way to travel between Heathrow and London. The journey time comes in at under an hour (approximately 56 minutes), and trains run frequently so wait time, even during off-peak hours, should never be longer than 10 minutes.

Heathrow has three underground stations, one for terminals 2 and 3, and then one each for terminals 4 and 5.

The underground stations for Terminals 2 and 3 are located away from the terminal buildings themselves but are easily accessed via a pedestrian subway.

The underground stations for terminals 4 and 5 are located in directly underneath the terminals in the terminal basements.

Tickets can be bought from all underground stations. A single fare from Zone 6 is £6.00. Alternatively, you can buy a one-day travel card for £18.10. This gives you unlimited travel in Zones 1-6. An off-peak version of this ticket will cost £12.70

#Train

The Heathrow Express runs between Paddington station and Heathrow’s terminals 2 and 3. This is the fastest way to travel — the entire trip taking 15 minutes.

Tickets bought online cost £25.00 or, if bought during off-peak hours, £22.00. A return fare purchased online is £37.00.

#Bus

The National Express runs buses between Heathrow and central London. They are another cost-effective way of getting from the airport to the city. However, they do not run as frequently.

Busses do not depart from any of the passenger terminals, but rather from the Central Coach Station at the airport which sits between Terminals 2 and 3; a few minutes walk away.

The National Express service is not exclusive to London and run bus routes up and down the country. This makes it an excellent option for people looking to travel from Heathrow to other cities.

You cannot buy tickets direct from the driver, so they must be purchased in the bus terminal or online in advance. Unless you buy a Fully Flexible fare, for which you can amend your departure time at no extra cost, your ticket (a Standard fare) will guarantee you a seat on a bus at a specific departure time.

How much does it cost to take the tube from Heathrow to London?
